Coaches need to complete the following items in order to coach.

1) Background Check

2) AYSO – Safe Haven Courses
   • US SafeSport Training – Mandated reporting of child abuse.
   • CDC Concussion Awareness Training
   • Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training
   • AYSO’s Save Haven – Child & Volunteer protection guidelines.

3) Coach Training – Age Specific Courses
   • 5U, 6U, 8U: Online training only - Age division you are coaching.
   • 10U: 10U Coach online class + 10U in-person field (in-person is 4 hrs)
   • 12U: 12U Coach online class + 12U in-person classroom & field (in-person is 8 hrs)
   • 14U: 14U Coach online class + 14U in-person classroom & field (in-person is 8 hrs)
               o Complete 12U Coach training
               o Online course: Summary of the Laws of the Game
